UX Designer

The platform connects customers with craftsmen in a wide range of categories, ranging from large house remodelling and renovation projects to smaller home improvement services. The core mission is to grow our marketplaces in all Nordic markets, as well as expanding our product along the user and customer journeys to create more value for both businesses and consumers. The UX designer / Senior UX designer role will be key to deliver on this mission. As a designer you will work closely with product managers and developers and collaborate with multiple teams.

Degree of responsibility will vary depending on background and experience of individual candidates, but at the core, as a designer in Mittanbud you will be responsible to/for:

• Use data and user insights to improve design and identify new opportunities.
• Balances user needs, business value, and technical feasibility in close collaboration with developers and Product Managers.
• Ensure accessibility (WCAG) in design solutions, as well as usability.
• Collaborate with all cross-functional teams for the implementation of the design system.
• Lead workshops and presentations for stakeholders.
• Contribute to the professional development of the wider design team
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve our unified design system.

Who Are You?

• 3-5+ years of experience in digital UX design, interaction design, product design or similar areas, ideally from a SaaS or marketplace product.
• Relevant higher education.
• Enjoy working in cross-functional mission orientated teams.
• Take a methodical approach to identifying target audiences and needs.
• Well-versed in conducting insight processes, synthesizing findings, and presenting results.
• Enjoy formulating hypotheses, experimenting, and learning from the process.
• Solid knowledge of design systems and appreciation for the value they provide.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Norwegian
  • for skills in graphic & motion design
