Supplier Quality Engineer

As we build towards the launch of commercial production we are committed to ensuring the highest standards of product quality. We now have an opening for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer with a quality-first mindset, to join our existing team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining supplier processes to meet customer requirements and verifying their systems for compliance, directly contributing to the success of our product development and quality assurance initiatives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Guide suppliers through the product development process to meet Morrow's process and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define process parameters and criteria, support material qualification including PPAP, quality requirements.
• Carry out supplier audits to relevant standards, and ensuring that corrective actions are robust and effective.
• Support new product launches to ensure suppliers meet the required quality standards, including incoming material inspection control.
• Manage external root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions for supplier quality issues, including warranty claims.
• Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of corrective actions of supplier quality issues.
• Review and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain.

• Minimum BSc degree in engineering or relevant field is required.
• Supplier auditing experience to IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 9001 & 14001 preferred.
• Experience with RCA methods (8D, Ishikawa, 5 why, FMEA), PPAP, APQP and Control Plans.
• Significant Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment and in-depth knowledge on relevant quality standards.
• Six Sigma/Lean skills
