We need a new sommelier to join our team!

Hva vi ser etter

While formal sommelier certification isn't required, a deep knowledge and passion for wine is essentiel. If you speak a nordic language that is a big plus but we are open to strong English skills aswell.

Arbeidsoppgaver

-Pour and talk wine with our guests. We have 3 different beverage pairings with the tasting menu and a wine cellar that includes only european wines, mostly classical wine.

-Join in creating our beverage pairings and curate our wine list

-Inventory and stock control in the cellar

-Prepare the restaurant for service

-Waiter in our 40-seat restaurant where we serve our tasting menu

-When time allows for it, help out with the farm work and the foraging in the nature.

We're a small dedicated team delivering high-level restaurant experience centered on the arctic ingredients- primaliry sourced from our own farm. We are situated in the beautiful Vesterålen/Lofoten islands in northen Norway.

The position is open until next fall with possibility to prolong it.
