Shore excursion operator/dispatcher in Honningsvåg

Nordic Gateway is a leading tour operator for cruise ships on the Norwegian market. We provide shore excursions to many cruise lines in the various destinations in Norway, and to further strengthen our team we are now looking for a shore excursion dispatcher for our calls in Honningsvåg

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

As a shore excursion dispatcher, you will be acting as a company representative and be in charge of coordinating and supervising the shore excursion operations at the pier and reporting to the main office during the day when the ship is in port.

Job Period

The job?s assignments extend mainly to those specific dates that our ships / customers are in port, during the whole cruise season 2025, from the period between May until October.

What we are looking for:

A social and representative person with authority to establish and maintain order in situations that can be hectic and challenging. Good interpersonal skills and ability to multitask is essential.

Skills needed:

Fluent in English, additional language(s) is an advantage. Good knowledge of Norwegian language is considered a plus.

High work capacity, work ethic and ability to keep focus under high pressure.

Flexibility in working hours.

Leadership, human resourcing, team worker, service minded, ability to multitask, problem solving.

Excellent organizational & communication skills.

Experience in working with Microsoft Office (Excel primarily).

Previous experience in Cruise Line industry is consider a plus.
