Responsibilities

-Develop and implement procurement strategies focused on cost reduction and value creation.
-Conduct market analysis to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions.
-Prepare inquiry documents for major equipment and services in collaboration with engineering teams.
-Perform commercial evaluations of quotations, and issue contracts and purchase orders.
-Monitor deliveries to ensure adherence to timeframe, cost, and quality standards.
-Manage risks, deviations, and invoice processing.
-Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant guidelines and procedures.
-Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Required expertise

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in SCM, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
-A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
-Strong commercial mindset and business acumen.
-Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
-A structured and efficient working style, with a commitment to following established guidelines.
-Strong written and oral communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
Language: Norwegian and English
Location: Haugesund
Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: Assignment from February 2026 to December 2027
