Responsibilities
-Plan and execute modifications for Safety and Automation Systems (SAS).
-Provide technical support to resolve direct and short-term operational issues.
-Ensure all Life Cycle Information (LCI) is kept up-to-date.
-Maintain close cooperation with critical suppliers and contractors.
-Perform defect elimination and support Root Cause Failure Analysis for production losses.
-Manage costs within agreed budgets for assigned activities.
-Participate in the community for automation engineers, including team meetings.
Required expertise
-Master of Science or a similar degree in Automation, preferably with a specialization in Control Systems.
-A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and operation of Safety and Automation Systems (SAS), ideally within the oil and gas industry.
-Previous experience with ABB control systems is a mandatory requirement.
-In-depth experience and understanding of relevant discipline standards and guidelines.
-A systematic, structured, and reliable approach to performing daily tasks.
-Strong communication skills.
Language: Norwegian and English
Location: Stavanger
Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: Temporary assignment from February 2026 to December 2027
