Sea Kayak Guide / Havkajakk Guide - Flåm, summer 2026

Welcome to Njord, a guide company based in Flåm, Norway. We specialize in soft adventure guided tours, perfect for beginners, families with children, and outdoor enthusiasts. While our main focus is on guided kayaking tours, we also offer biking and hiking adventures.

Hva vi ser etter

We're looking for outdoorsy people with:

• Proven experience in sea kayaking and guiding. Wild camping and outdoor cooking are a plus.

• Kayaking qualifications at a 2- or 3-star level through recognized associations (BCU, ACA, NPF, EPP, or equivalent).

• A valid first aid certificate (WFR or similar is a plus).

• Fluency in English. Other languages are a plus but not required.

• Strong social and communication skills, with the ability to create a positive group dynamic.

• The ability to lead groups of varying sizes and skill levels.

• The capability to make independent decisions based on changing conditions.

• A Class B driving license (required). Class BE (for trailers) is a big plus.

Arbeidsoppgaver

• Guided Tours: Lead and engage visitors in tours, sharing accurate and engaging information about local culture, history, and landmarks.

• Rental Shifts: Assist with rentals, ensuring equipment is well-maintained and ready for use.

• Seasonal employment May-September

• 30,000-45,000 NOK monthly salary (gross)

• 1-2 days off per week

• Assistance with housing in Flåm
