SAS Engineer

Responsibilities

-Acting as SAS engineer on EPCI modification and maintenance projects
-Designing and integrating SAS systems and participating in F&G reviews
-Delivering system design for process, utility and electrical systems
-Following up vendor documentation and participating in FAT
-Preparing engineering documents such as F&G, C&E, SCDs, ESD/PSD logic and work packages
-Handling interface coordination, as-built updates and red-line markups
-Supporting quality, HSSE, progress reporting and change management
-Conducting offshore surveys

Required expertise

-Education: vocational school, bachelor or master
-Minimum 5 years experience within SAS, automation or control systems
-Strong skills in PCS, F&G, ESD/PSD and integration of field devices
-Experience with IEC 61508/61511 and NORSOK I-002
-Ability to review supplier documentation and verify software/hardware deliveries
-Experience supporting installation and MC of SAS equipment
-Ability to work across disciplines like process, electrical, safety and HVAC
-EX Basic, EXi Basic and GSK offshore course
-Strong communication and teamwork skills
Languages: Norwegian and English, Professional working proficiency
