We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Quality Planning Engineer to join our existing Quality team as we prepare for full commercial production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and execute comprehensive quality plans, as well as monitor and verify the planned activities to drive continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and logical skills, using quality methodologies and data-driven methods to ensure excellent quality, performance and safety of Morrow's battery cells for specific customer projects.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and logical skills, using quality methodologies and data-driven methods to ensure excellent quality, performance and safety of Morrow's battery cells for specific customer projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop Advance Quality Plans based on quality methods such as AIAG-APQP, VDA -RGA in accordance with product and customer-specific requirements.
- Conduct quality tasks in the Product Development Process from the start of the design phase through to the start of production for relevant products.
- Coordinate design and process risk assessment analyses (D-FMEA and P-FMEA), control plans and design for manufacturability in all sample stages, and structure them into comprehensive quality records.
- Analyse deviations, quality problems, special releases etc., in product groups, and document findings clearly and systematically.
- Continuously monitor PPAP deliverables, support process and product audits, and contribute to continuous improvement activities in process management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement appropriate improvement solutions.
- Continuously improve procedures based on acquired experience, relevant knowledge, and recent updates.

Education / Experience
- Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience in developing processes, standards, procedures, and documentation in an efficient way to ensure high quality products to meet customer requirements.
- Experience in Advanced Quality Planning, including strong proficiency in AIAG APQP and excellent understanding of quality methods i.e., PPAP, Control Plan, FMEAs, technical drawings and special characteristics.
- Knowledge and experience of applying quality problem solving methods such as fishbone diagrams, 5-Why, issue tree, etc.
- Continuous improvement mindset and risk-based thinking
Specific skills and abilities
- Self-driven with the ability to perform well both individually and in multi-disciplinary and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle high workloads and manage several projects at the same time.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A proactive and pragmatic approach to solving problems and challenges.
- Good planning and organizational skills, with attention to detail
- Knowledge of Quality management systems e.g. ISO 9001, IATF 16949, TQM
- Fluency in English
