Responsibilities
-Take charge of process design, simulations (HYSYS/Flarenet), and the preparation of technical documentation like P&IDs and PFDs.
-Carry out conceptual studies, detailed engineering, and technical modifications on existing installations.
-Collaborate closely with other disciplines, project management, and the client to ensure seamless project integration.
-Act as the technical approver for the discipline's deliverables.
-Contribute to the professional development and mentorship of junior engineers within the team.
Required expertise
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Thermodynamics, or a similar relevant engineering field.
-A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience within the oil and gas industry.
-Experience with modification projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf is highly advantageous.
-Documented proficiency in process simulation tools such as Aspen HYSYS, Flarenet, or UniSim.
-In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards such as NORSOK, API, and ISO.
-Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Language: Fluent in Norwegian and English
Location: Harstad, Norway
Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: 2-year assignment
