As a project purchaser, you will collaborate closely with the engineering team and supply chain team. Your ability to work effectively within a team and independently is crucial. Thriving in a dynamic yet motivated work environment is essential for success in this role.


Responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Develop bills of materials in ERP system for all projects in collaboration with the engineering department.
  • Find electronic components based on specifications.
  • Support RnD projects with BOM evaluation for sourcing/obsolescence/cost issues.
  • Ensure that material quotations are solicited and evaluated.
  • Procure materials for the projects.
  • Follow up to guarantee delivery within the specified timeframe, cost, and quality.
  • Professionally handle variations and manage risks and deviations.
  • Ensure that projects related to procurement adhere to the company's guidelines.
  • Act as a liaison between engineers and operational teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree, primarily in fields such as Electronic Engineering, or similar.
  • Relevant work experience is an advantage, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Advanced excel competence
  • Experience with ERP systems, databases and integrations are an advantage
  • The right attitude and high commitment may compensate for a lack of formal education or relevant work experience.


Personal qualities:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in both Norwegian and English.
  • Positive interaction with others and strong collaboration skills.
  • Interest for electronics.
  • Work is conducted in a structured and efficient manner, always in accordance with applicable guidelines.
  • Comfortable working independently within a team and communicating clearly.
