Om stillingen

We are looking for a product designer with a special interest in data visualisation to join one of our product teams at our Oslo office!

THE OPPORTUNITY IN A NUTSHELL

You? You are a collaborative, curious, and customer-centric designer with at least 4 years in the business. During your career, you have gained solid experience working with both product discovery and design delivery in a cross-functional team. You also have a particular interest in visualizing complex data in a clear and digestible way.

Role? You will join our Insights as a Product team in Norway as well as our cross-Nordics UX team. The work includes collaborations across our products in the Nordics, collecting user & business insights, prototyping & validating new concepts, and creating final designs.

Location? We have a hybrid working policy, meaning that we want you to join us in our vibrant and colourful office in central Oslo 2-3 days per week to meet with the team.

Why us?We welcome you to become part of a dynamic design team with product, service, and visual designers from Norway, Sweden, and Denmark! We support and inspire each other, and above all, we laugh together! Our goal is to foster a strong awareness of design's contribution to business value and to set every designer in the driver's seat of the customer experience. On top of that, you'll be a permanent member of a product team working closely with product, tech, sales, customer support, and analysts to create amazing products and services in a super exciting business area!

WHO ARE YOU?

Experience:Preferably 4+ years of experience in UX and digital product design.

Customer research:You are highly skilled in planning and executing customer research to validate problem statements, identify new opportunities, or test ideas using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Design delivery:You are great at drafting and iterating designs in Figma, displaying a clear understanding of how different design choices connect to business value. You seek input and collaboration with customers, your team, and internal stakeholders to build on ideas and finalize solutions. You confidently guide developers during implementation to ensure the experience looks and works as intended and follows our design guidelines.

Agile Mindset:You are accustomed to being in a flexible environment and iterating as new information and learnings come.

Outcome Focus:You are great at defining hypotheses and success metrics related to your ideas and designs. You always follow up to ensure that the intended value aligns with the outcome, striking a balance between delivering exceptional customer experiences and meeting business objectives.

Language skills: While our company language is English, your users will be Norwegian speaking. Thus, this role requires you to be able to hold conversations and conduct tests in both Norwegian and English.

WHAT DOES THE TEAM DO?

The Insights as a Product team creates advanced data products for professionals and private individuals. The team specializes in compiling and processing data into tangible insights, designed and visualized to support users in making informed decisions.

FINN has joined forces with Bilinfo, Bilbasen, and DBA in Denmark, Oikotie and Tori in Finland, and Blocket and Bytbil in Sweden, collectively formingSchibsted Marketplaces (Soon to be Vend). Together, we serve over 325 million monthly visits.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK

You will work in the Mobility area of Schibsted Marketplaces, where we manage all vehicle-related sales. That means you'll get to know people and teams across the Nordics working with different brands and products. Your day-to-day will mostly be spent with your product team, which consists of PM, EM, front-end and back-end developers, and tech lead. Together, you will be responsible for the functionality and value delivery of our insights products.

You'll cover the user-centric design process end to end, and we dare to say that there's no day alike. You are responsible for the customer experience, and let qualitative insights and behavioral data drive your work. You identify and prioritize the UX/CX direction, conduct incremental design updates, explore new concepts, and validate them with the customers using mock-ups & prototypes. You define success metrics with the team and follow up on the outcome of every implementation to iterate and improve the product.
