Piping & Layout

Responsibilities

-Serve as the lead for layout and material handling.
-Execute piping work across study, pre-engineering, detail engineering, and as-built phases.
-Perform design and manage volume reservation using E3D software.
-Estimate discipline-specific work and assemble piping work packages.
-Follow up on piping prefabrication and offshore installation activities.
-Conduct offshore surveys as required.

Required expertise

-Bachelor's or Master's degree, or a qualification from a higher technical school.
-A minimum of 8 years of experience in area engineering for piping and layout within Norway's oil and gas sector.
-Previous experience with brownfield projects is highly advantageous.
-Proven experience in preparing work packs and a solid understanding of construction methods.
-High proficiency in piping design, layout, and E3D software.
-Experience with material and equipment handling in E3D, including generating material handling reports.
-Proficiency in 2D MicroStation.
-In-depth knowledge of Ptil requirements and Norsok standards.

Location: Stavanger, with offshore work required
