Onshore Civil Lead

The role includes two parts:
-One is following up the onshore development of the project.
-The second is to lead the cost development group in the onshore department.
Onshore department is a multidisciplinary team of engineers who develop and deliver the onshore scope of offshore wind projects; landfall, cable corridor, onshore substation (ONS) and connection to grid.

Responsibilities

-Oversee and follow up on work within civil, onshore structural, and architect disciplines throughout project phases.
-Coordinate with onshore engineers to ensure scope delivery.
-Monitor contractor performance to ensure deliverables align with the scope of work, budget, and schedule.
-Lead cost development, map project costs, and review estimation models.
-Contribute to the planning and execution of civil engineering and construction scopes.
-Support site selection with civil-related evaluations, including ground investigation and testing.
-Provide input for procurement activities for ongoing and future project phases.
-Drive engineering efficiency, ensure safety in design, and promote constructability.
-Support construction field engineers by handling technical queries, non-conformance requests, and variation orders.

Required expertise

-Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
-Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with 10+ years being ideal.
-Proven experience from offshore wind projects and onshore construction.
-Strong understanding of cost breakdowns, risk assessment, and estimation models.
-Experience and understanding of landfall, cable corridor, and onshore substation development or construction.
-Knowledge of Polish regulations is desirable but not a requirement.
