MC Field Engineer – Telecom

Role summary

We are looking for an experienced MC Field Engineer – Telecom to join our team in Haugesund. In this role, you will work closely with construction and engineering teams to ensure high-quality MC activities within the telecom discipline. The position involves quality verification, pre-punch execution, and follow-up towards engineering and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with and verify the quality of deliverables from the construction team.
• Perform pre-punch activities within the telecom scope.
• Conduct red-line mark-ups and follow up with the engineering department as called-for.
• Ensure proper handover to commissioning according to project procedures.

Qualifications

• Technical College (Fagskole) or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Relevant Trade Certificate (Fagbrev) and experience may compensate for formal education.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within telecom, MC, or commissioning in industrial or offshore projects.
• Valid FSE – High and Low Voltage with First Aid certification.
