Purpose of the roleThis is a full-time position based in SAS' offices in Oslo and Gardermoen. You will report to the Vice President of Industrial Relations and Labor Law, at SAS HQ in Stockholm. You will be a part of the Scandinavian department responsible for individual and collective labor law, as well as collective bargaining for the SAS Group, comprising all countries where SAS operates.
Job Description
You will carry out independent legal investigations, prepare consultation responses and counseling. A large part of the work is continuous labor law counseling to both negotiation teams and managers ranging from daily operational matters to complex legal issues. You will negotiate key out-of-court disputes. Because we have many issues to deal with that span a wide range of fields, you must enjoy a great variety of tasks, while you get to know the various parts of the SAS group across Scandinavia. You will receive regular training and participate in professional networks. As part of the labor law section, you will join in monitoring labor law and related issues domestically and within the European Union.
Minimum qualifications
You must have a Master of law degree from an accredited university, and a minimum of 5-10 years proven experience as a corporate representative in employment law disputes, with special emphasize on collective labor law. Applicants who have worked in an employer association or have experience in collective employment law are encouraged to apply.

• You are driven to communicate and express yourself fluently in Norwegian speech and writing. English is SAS corporate language, a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
• You show a genuine appreciation for labor law and keep on top of developments in the field
• You are able to travel, mainly within Scandinavia
