Insulation Field Engineer

Responsibilities

-Ensure construction activities for insulation are planned, qualified, performed, and documented according to contract specifications.
-Monitor contractor's fabrication activities with a focus on quality, schedule, cost efficiency, and HSE.
-Track work progress against plans, highlighting concerns and suggesting corrective actions.
-Participate in engineering and construction reviews to secure feasible and cost-efficient results.
-Supervise inspectors in the site team.
-Ensure that systems and equipment are protected and preserved.
-Verify that all required fabrication documentation and records are prepared and issued correctly.
-Ensure completion for a smooth handover to the commissioning team.

Required expertise

-Previous documented experience with similar field engineering work.
Language: English and Norwegian
Location: Stord, Norway (with planned relocation to Øygarden from approximately March 2027)
Commuters Not Accepted
Work schedule: Part-time (60%)
Duration: 30.04.2026 - 30.12.2027
Option Period: 1 x 6 months
