Responsibilities

-Oversee and manage discipline-specific engineering activities, ensuring work is carried out according to plan.
-Produce, review, and understand new engineering documentation, including Cause & Effect diagrams, System Control Diagrams (SCDs), and loop drawings for various systems.
-Perform IS Loop Calculations.
-Revise existing documentation and drawings as required.
-Conduct discipline checks and approve project documents and drawings.
-Order all necessary instrument materials for offshore installation.
-Interpret P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines to ensure system integration.
-Collaborate with clients and vendors to identify and implement optimal technical solutions.

Required expertise

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline. A lack of formal education can be compensated by 10-15 years of relevant experience.
-More than 8 years of engineering experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
-Demonstrable experience with modification projects on operational offshore installations.
-Thorough knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as NORSOK, PTIL, and API.
-Valid FSE certificate (High/low voltage with practical first aid).
-Valid EX certificate (Basic EX, minimum 6-8 hours).
-Excellent communication and self-learning skills.
