Responsibilities
-Design, coordinate, and follow-up on instrument valve packages and field instrumentation.
-Serve as the Technical Responsible Engineer (PRE) for instrument valve packages.
-Act as the Instrument Discipline Responsible Engineer (DRE) for mechanical equipment packages.
-Oversee and evaluate vendor performance and technical documentation.
-Ensure all required vendor information is identified, tracked, and communicated to maintain project progress.
-Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), inspections, and vendor site surveys.
-Prepare, review, and finalize engineering documents and data registers.
-Coordinate interfaces with other engineering disciplines, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Required expertise
-Bachelor's degree or a similar qualification.
-A minimum of 5 years of experience in field instrumentation design for greenfield offshore oil and gas projects.
-At least 4 years of experience with PRE activities for instrumentation valve packages.
-Extensive knowledge of field instrumentation design according to standards like NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, and IEC.
-Valid FSE and EX course certificates.
-Excellent communication skills and a cooperative attitude for a multicultural team environment.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-A systematic, accurate, and proactive approach with a strong commitment to deadlines and quality.
Language: English
Location: Asker, Norway, with required offshore work
Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: Temporary assignment from March 2026 to December 2027.
