Then we build it.As an HSSE Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring that health, safety, security and environmental standards are fully embedded in Aibel Thailand's operations. You will be responsible for maintaining a robust HSSE Management System aligned with Aibel's corporate requirements, as well as leading HSSE initiatives to support safe and sustainable project execution. In this role, you will oversee HSSE planning, risk management, compliance, and reporting processes, while driving continuous improvement and fostering a strong HSSE culture across the organization.
About the position
The HSSE Manager is accountable for implementing and maintaining an effective HSSE Management System in line with company strategy, regulatory requirements and international standards. You will develop and execute HSSE plans and programs, monitor performance through KPIs, and ensure compliance with Thai laws, client expectations and Aibel's corporate policies. The role includes identifying and mitigating risks, leading audits and improvements, and ensuring effective emergency preparedness systems. You will collaborate closely with management, project teams and external stakeholders, while also leading and developing HSSE personnel to support high standards of safety and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HSSE or equivalent discipline
- Minimum 15 years of experience in HSSE, including at least 5 years in a management role
- Strong knowledge of QHSSE Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 / ISO 45001)
- Experience in risk management, audit systems, and construction HSSE practices
- Good command of English and proficiency in MS Office
The job holder shall:
- Implement and maintain occupational Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) management systems within ATH operations
- Develop, implement and follow up HSSE plans, programs and initiatives aligned with Aibel's objectives
- Identify, evaluate and mitigate HSSE risks (technical, operational and environmental)
- Lead HSSE audits, ensure follow-up actions are implemented and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure emergency response systems and procedures comply with Thai regulations, client requirements and Aibel standards
- Prepare HSSE reports, track performance indicators and provide recommendations to management
- Support projects and operations with HSSE expertise and ensure safe execution of activities
- Lead, guide and develop HSSE personnel, ensuring clarity in roles, responsibilities and expectations
- Promote a strong HSSE culture and provide advice on handling incidents, conflicts and improvement opportunities
- Ensure effective communication of HSSE requirements, updates and company objectives within the team.
