Responsibilities
-Perform and verify the design of electrical installations.
-Serve as the Package Responsible Engineer for assigned scopes.
-Define and design heat trace requirements in accordance with P&IDs.
-Prepare, check, and approve Material Take-Offs (MTO) and technical requisitions.
-Follow up with vendors to ensure technical compliance and timely delivery.
-Input data into the engineering registry and produce engineering work packages.
-Interface with other disciplines to ensure a coordinated design approach.
-Conduct site surveys as required.
Required expertise
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
-Proven experience from electrical engineering projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
-In-depth knowledge of electrical design according to standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC.
-Experience with a major operator's technical requirements (TRs), STID, and Procosys is advantageous.
-Valid EX and FSE certifications.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team with a multidisciplinary understanding.
-A cooperative, proactive, and solution-oriented working attitude.
-Systematic, accurate, and efficient work methods.
Language: Norwegian and English
Location: Bergen, Norway
Work schedule: Full-time
Duration: 2-year contract
