What We're Looking For
Eligible for kjøreseddel (public transport permit)
Experience driving vans or minibuses (D1 or D license + YSK certification)
Fluent in English (bonus points for additional languages)
Familiarity with Tromsø and Arctic road conditions
A clean driving record and ability to work independently
A calm, professional, and confident driver
EU/EEA work permit or valid visa
Arbeidsoppgaver
As a driver with Wandering Owl, you will:
- Safely transport guests and guides to and from tour locations (in vans or 17-seat minibuses)
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance (cleaning, refuelling, pre-trip checks)
- Be a welcoming and reassuring presence for guests during transfers
- Navigate Arctic roads with skill and confidence
- Assist guides with loading/unloading equipment and managing logistics (driver-specific support only)
- Communicate clearly and kindly in English (other languages are a plus!)
