Wandering Owl is hiring a skilled D1 Minibus Driver who already has their kjøreseddel. Join our team, navigate under the Northern Lights. Please do not apply if you don't have your d1 licence and your kjøreseddel.

Arbeidsoppgaver
D1 driving qualification + CPC (YSK)
Your Kjøreseddel (There is not enough time before the start date for you to apply)
Proficient in English
Excellent communication & social skills
Up-to-date first aid, primary & secondary care certifications
Comfortable driving in challenging winter conditions
Willingness to learn "Owl ways" and embrace nature-based transformational tourism
Responsibilities:
Drive a 17-seater minibus during Northern Lights, ensuring guest safety and comfort.
Assist the guide in practical tasks during the tour, including lighting campfires, helping clients with gear, serving meals outdoors, and terrain walking.
Maintain the minibus to ensure high-quality and smooth tours (refueling, vehicle checks after each tour).
Take responsibility for alerting management to necessary actions for important service maintenance.
Tasks:
Navigate the minibus during nighttime Northern Lights tours, showcasing exceptional driving skills.
Support the guide in handling clients and equipment, contributing to a seamless tour experience.
Conduct maintenance tasks, including refueling and vehicle checks after each tour.
Alert management to necessary actions for critical service maintenance.
Embrace additional tasks during shifts, adapting to the dynamic nature of the role.
Be outdoors in Arctic winter conditions for extended periods, providing support as needed.
Ensure compliance with specific permits required for the position.
Qualifications:
Proven D1 driving qualification and a Kjøreseddel. If you do not have your kjøreseddel please do not apply.
Proficiency in English for effective communication with guests.
Outstanding communication and social skills to enhance the overall guest experience.
Up-to-date first aid, primary, and secondary care certifications.
Comfortable driving in challenging winter conditions.
Open-minded, culturally sensitive, and willing to learn the "Owl ways."
Enthusiastic about working in nature-based transformational tourism.
