Commissioning System Responsible Electro

Responsibilities

-Plan, execute, and supervise completion and commissioning activities for designated systems with a strong focus on HSSE.
-Act as the system responsible for electrical systems, ensuring they meet all project and operational requirements.
-Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures.
-Ensure the safe and efficient handover of plant and equipment to the operations team.
-Coordinate with various departments and disciplines to ensure efficient commissioning execution.
-Provide input and update progress within the project completion system (PIMS).
-Participate in mechanical completion (MC) punch-outs and Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs).
-Ensure the availability of necessary spare parts, tools, and resources for commissioning activities.

Required expertise

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
-Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
-Proven experience with NORSOK projects.
-Strong knowledge and understanding of system-based commissioning.
-Demonstrated ability to lead a team of commissioning engineers and technicians.
-Familiarity with project completion systems (e.g., PIMS) is an advantage.
-Self-motivated with strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
-Ability to work independently and within a team.
Language: English and Norwegian (written and verbal)
Location: Stord, Stavanger, and offshore
Work schedule: Full-time, Position will start dayshift before a 2/3 rotation at Stord, and next pahse will be Stavanger and Offshore.
This position is fully mobile with base location onshore Aker Solutions Stord.
Duration: Assignment from September 2026 to September 2027.
