Om stillingen
We are hiring a Booking Manager for handling bookings & general inquiries for our Sea Kayaking operation based in Gudvangen.
The job is office based and entails the following duties & responsibilities:
· Replying to e-mails continuously and keeping track of communication with customers - this is your main task during the day and sending out detailed e-mail replies will make up 50% of your work hours
· Logging confirmed bookings into our booking system, updating bookings, financial records and payments as needed.
· Answering phone inquiries
. Helping with Admin tasks related to supplies, maintenance, imports
· Basic accounting and filing - 1/2 day weekly
We are looking for a person who meets the following requirements:
· Presentable and tidy
· Has flawless spoken and written English, ideally speaks and reads Norwegian
· Has excellent computer skills, including MS Office
· Has outstanding customer service skills and pays attention to detail
· Is highly organized and can multitask
· Is flexible, self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
The position starts April 20th and runs until September 25th.
Krav til kompetanse
Må kunne beherske Engelsk både skriftlig og mundtlig
Må kunne arbeide strukturert i et ofte hektisk kontormiljø
Må kunne arbeide inntil 8 timer daglig på en PC i perioder.
Ønsket kompetanse
Minimum førerkort klasse B, D1E en fordel
Erfaring fra tidligere lignende stilling
Bør kunne snakke og lese norsk, ikke et krav
Personlige egenskaper
Kan periodevis jobbe overtid og helger
