Automation / Senior Engineer

Responsibilities

-Lead automation design for study and tendering phases of HVDC & HVAC offshore wind projects.
-Define, specify, and design automation and Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS).
-Develop system philosophies, topologies, I/O budgets, and technical descriptions.
-Verify designs from previous project phases, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements.
-Arrange and participate in meetings, workshops, and design reviews for the automation discipline.
-Interface with other disciplines, contractors, and the client to ensure seamless project integration.

Required expertise

-Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant engineering field.
-Minimum 10 years of experience in automation engineering, either from greenfield Oil & Gas projects or industrial ICSS system design.
-Proven experience with automation system design in FEED or study phase projects.
-Experience with tendering processes is highly desirable.
-Thorough knowledge of relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, ISO, and IEC.
-Experience from offshore wind projects in Europe is considered a significant advantage.
-Must hold valid EX and FSE course certificates.
-Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative work ethic.
